WHAT MAKES TABOO STUDIOS DIFFERENT?
It's not your average murder mystery.
Some secrets are dirty. Ours can get downright filthy.
Taboo Studios creates adults-only murder mystery party kits where dark humor, scandalous affairs, outrageous personalities, and twisted motives collide.
Forget awkward scripts and predictable whodunits. Your guests become morally questionable characters armed with secrets, personal objectives, and plenty of reasons to lie to each other's faces.

HOW TABOO CAN YOU GO?
One group's hilarious is another group's "OH MY GOD, YOU CAN'T SAY THAT."
That's why we created the Taboo Meter™ - our exclusive 1-to-5 rating system that tells you how far each mystery's humor and mature content go before you choose your game.
1/5
STILL INNOCENT
No sexual or crude humor. Mild romance, no profanity, and occasional adult references may appear, but the overall experience stays relatively clean.
2/5
A LITTLE NAUGHTY
Occasional sexual innuendo, cheeky humor, and mild profanity. Playful and a little mischievous, but still relatively tame.
3/5
GETTING FRISKY
Adult humor and sexual innuendo are evident. Expect more profanity, suggestive jokes, recreational substance references, and affairs. Some material may make some blush, but it's not relentlessly explicit.
4/5
FILTHY MINDS
Frequent raunchy humor, strong innuendo, crude jokes, provocative characters, sexual situations, strong profanity, and recurring adult themes. This game's tone is naughty throughout all 3 acts.
5/5
ZERO INHIBITIONS
Adult irreverant and raunchy humor is central, pervasive, and unapologetically outrageous. Highly provocative with strong sexual themes, and boundary-pushing material. You have been warned.

Forget being Sherlock. Our murder mystery party kits are built for laughter, drama, and unforgettable moments—not test-taking detectives.
DO PLAYERS HAVE TO READ A SCRIPT?
Nope. It's guided, not scripted.
Each guest receives a character guide with a backstory, goals, and secrets. There are no lines to memorize or read off a page. Your guests bring the characters to life through conversation, accusations, and improvised storytelling.

I had a blast!... It was the perfect balance for improvisation which made every move unpredictable, hilarious, and genuinely engaging. The best part was the Ad‑Lib Energy, which made the night feel personal and very memorable!
