I recently went to a murder mystery party featuring a party kit by Taboo Studios. I had a blast! The experience felt more like stepping into an improv comedy show than following a traditional game. The kit gave us just enough character background to spark ideas without boxing us in.
It was the perfect balance for improvisation which made every move unpredictable, hilarious, and genuinely engaging. The best part was the Ad‑Lib Energy, which made the night feel personal and very memorable!

If you’re a fellow murder mystery lover, like myself, you MUST give this a try! I attended a party featuring one of Taboo Studios party kits and it was beyond entertaining! I laughed the whole night! It was so fun to watch everyone try to uncover who the murderer was— which was me😉
I plan to host one of these parties in the near future! The party is practically all set up for you. With character lists, outfit suggestions, host scripts to help the plot move a long, even playlists to add ambiance to your party— all you have to do is get some friends together and see where the night takes you! 10/10 would definitely recommend these kits to anyone looking for a fun night!

What a great time we had! It was my first time participating in this type of activity. After receiving my part, I took some time to read about my character and the whole play. We received our scripted parts in order to prepare our costumes. There was an intense amount of creativity in all the costumes. I didn't know some of my friends were so creative.
Even though you receive a script, you need to put your personal touch to your character. The night was full of laughs, mischief, food, drinks, and great memories.
I recommend to try it. You will not forget it !!! 🕺💃
